Profitec Pro 600 Espresso Machine

If you look at Pro 600 you would think its the same as a Pro 700. In all fairness on the exterior, it does have the same E61 group, PID system, steam wand, and hot water wands. In fact, apart from a slightly more compact size, the only real unique feature to this machine is the black finish in the side panels. Even in the inside, you get the same brew boiler you found in the Pro 700 with a capacity of 0.75 L.

Where are the differences then? The main differences lie inside of the machine, for instance, the steam boiler has a capacity of 1 L and a vibration pump has been fitted instead. Despite these small downgrades, the machine has still plenty of things to make up with. The PID system allows for extremely precise regulations of the temperature and you get a shot-timer integrated as well. The Vibration pump is still very silent compared to conventional ones and the double boilers allow for a repeated brew and steaming simultaneously.

An innovation that Profitec has made available for this machine is the optional Profitec E61 flow control device. Thanks to a stainless steel needle valve you can vary the amount of water flowing through the group. The flow control valve, with the group, mounted pressure gauge, allows pressure profiling during pre-infusion and during the espresso extraction, a feature commonly seen in significantly more expensive coffee machines.
